Hunting Smurfs

When news trickled in that "Smurfs Season One" was out on DVD, the wife and I immediately agreed that this was a must-have DVD. It is the Smurfs 50th anniversary. I have lots of Smurf toys and I've got quite a few Smurf comics by Peyo.
The trouble is that it's been impossible to find. Target, Circuit City and Wal-Mart are sold out.
In fact, at Target the electronics person said "It was the best-selling DVD of the week" for that store.
We're beginning to feel a bit like Gargamel in our Smurf-hunting adventure.
They're supposed to be out there, but they're just impossible to find.
But don't worry, we'll stumble on them one day and have the little blue buggers for good.

The Smurfs is more popular than I realized. I just checked on Wal-Mart.com and they are sold out there.
