Jones and the red dwarf

Robert Gibson Jones was the cover painter for this 1947 issue of Fantastic Adventures where he illustrated a story by Richard Shaver.

I must admit, I just love the title and that's why I picked this particular issue.

Jones' art style is so clean, imaginative and iconic that he's one of the more common artists you'll find when you look for pulp cover reprints. Some of those reprints can be found here and here.
