Buying old comics is really easy now, since most back issues are actually cheaper than new comics!
I've recently had an opportunity to pick up some old-school (pre-1990) back issues, and have had a ball reading them. Heck, I even got a few "Power Man & Iron Fist" issues, and that's a comic I never had any exposure to as a kid.
Anyway, my enjoyment of those made me wonder why I even buy new stuff. I really miss the style of comics back then. There's just something different about today's comics. (Sorry about the geezer attitude)
Today's comics are so "black ops." You know, so tactical, ruthless, and conspiracy- and scheme-filled.
